Roadwork is set to impact two areas of Ventura County: along Highway 101 in the north part of the county and Pacific Coast Highway in the south for the week of April 13, according to authorities.
The left lanes for both northbound and southbound Highway 101 at the State Beaches ramp are scheduled to be closed for K-rail installation on April 16, according to the California Department of Transportation’s social media post.
The northbound left lane of Highway 101 will shut down between 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. the next day, Caltrans said. The southbound left lane will close between 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., and then the two southbound right lanes are scheduled to close from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. the next day.
Nearby in the north, drivers planning on accessing PCH between La Conchita Mussel Shoals for both northbound and southbound directions should expect delays as well from April 13 to April 17, a Caltrans post says.
Caltrans plans on a moving closure on the left lanes of PCH from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for guardrail installation, the post says. The road crew is scheduled to start roadwork by blocking the left lane on northbound PCH at Mobile Pier Road and move the closure south, the post adds.
To the south, motorists who need to use PCH, also known as Highway 1, near the county line at Neptune’s Net restaurant should plan accordingly to avoid delays for roadwork.
Northbound and southbound PCH is set for lane reductions April 17 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. between Tonga Street and Yerba Buena Road near County Line Beach for crosswalk installation, a Caltrans post says.
