Here's who was voted to the Ventura County Coaches Baseball Association All-County teams

The Ventura County Baseball Coaches Association has released its 2025 All-County teams, as voted on by local coaches.

Pacifica senior first baseman Devon Wilkes was voted Player of the Year.

The Cal State University Bakersfield commit hit .480 with a .582 on-base percentage and .949 slugging average, which included 13 doubles and 11 home runs.

Ventura senior Wylan Nelson was voted Pitcher of the Year.

The University of San Diego commit was 7-1 with a 1.38 ERA in 12 appearances for the Channel League co-champions. He struck out 101 batters in 71 innings.

The two-way star also led the Cougars by hitting .398 with 35 runs scored, seven doubles and five home runs.

Wilkes and Nelson headlined the Coaches All-County teams, which included first and second teams, honorable mentions and an All-Academic team.

First team

The pitchers were Royal junior Dustin Dunwoody, Simi Valley junior Jackson Goshorn, Santa Paula freshman Izaak Medina, Simi Valley junior Kyle Casey and Ventura junior Cooper Tinkey,

The catchers were Simi Valley sophomore Evan Rodriguez and Oaks Christian junior Carson Sheffer and Calabasas senior Jack Quirk.

The infield was Royal senior Brady Hewitt, Oaks Christian senior Quentin Young, Ventura senior Josh Woodworth, Channel Islands senior Nolan Salinas, Royal senior Zach Nagy, Calabasas senior Matthew Witkow and Thousand Oaks senior Dane Holt.

The outfield was Simi Valley junior Quentin McGahan, Thousand Oaks senior James Luderer, Channel Islands senior Gavin Marin, Oaks Christian senior James Latshaw and Hueneme junior Jorge Medina.

The utilities were Newbury Park senior Luke Medhurst and Ventura senior Carter Kimble.

Second team

The pitchers were Oaks Christian senior Ty Hanley, Royal junior Dean Barkman, Pacifica senior Ricky Garcia, St. Bonaventure senior Ricky Estrada, Rio Mesa senior Damian Valdez and Ventura senior Caleb Sebek.

The catchers were Grace School junior Gavin Willis, Pacifica junior JJ Carmona and Camarillo senior Blaise Meyelmans.

The infield was Newbury Park sophomore Cole Munyon, Westlake senior Noah Stead, Agoura junior Braden Oliver, Thousand Oaks senior Omar Heredia, Buena junior Mason Trigo, Pacifica senior Jordyn Gonzales, and Simi Valley junior Danny Pina.

The outfield was Westlake senior Caden Atkinson, Royal junior Isaiah Tillman, Hueneme junior Joe Pena, Buena junior Brody Kaylor, and Rio Mesa freshman Jakob Zarate.

The utilities were Oxnard junior Steven Lira and St. Bonaventure senior Aaron Byrd.

Honorable mention

The pitchers were Westlake senior Micah Cummins, Pacifica senior Alex Villicana and Camarillo senior Braden Huber.

The catcher was Royal senior Payton Visage.

The infield was Westlake junior Blake Miller, Nordhoff senior Andres Perez, St. Bonaventure sophomore Luc Beauchmin, Santa Paula senior Angel Casimiro, and Oxnard senior Aldrian Higgs.

The outfield was Grace School senior Jake Barrett, St. Bonaventure freshman Wyatt Richardson, Oxnard senior Mitchell Tarazon, and Buena junior Gabe Alonso.

The utilities were Malibu senior Sean Perl and Oxnard senior Cooper Moreau.

All-Academic

The Ventura County All-Academic Baseball team included 22 seniors and juniors with GPAs of 3.5 or better.

The team included Buena junior Kody Walton (4.24 GPA), Camarillo senior Brayden Smith (4.0), Channel Islands senior Gavin Marin (4.4), Grace School senior Kyle Zahn (4.3), Nordhoff senior Andres Perez (3.58), Nordhoff senior TJ Delgado (3.88), Oaks Christian junior Luke Puls (3.84), Oaks Christian senior Sebastien Ajemian (3.52), Pacifica junior Riley Ortega (4.67), Rio Mesa senior Andres Rios (4.05), Royal senior Zach Nagy (4.6), Royal senior Brady Hewitt (4.0), Royal junior Dustin Dunwoody (4.17), Santa Paula senior Elias Garcia (4.87), Santa Paula junior Isaiah Flores (4.32), Simi Valley junior Lincoln Young (4.6), Simi Valley junior Kyle Casey (4.2), Ventura senior Josh Woodworth (4.04), Thousand Oaks junior Drew Deach (4.5), Thousand Oaks senior Denten Tetzlaff (4.75), Newbury Park senior Colin McNulty (4.84) and Oxnard senior Mitchel Tarazon (4.4).
