Charles Bassey had a hectic 2025-26 season to say the least, as the fifth-year center played games for four different NBA teams, including the Golden State Warriors. After appearing in five games with the Boston Celtics on two 10-day contracts, the Warriors brought him in for the final four games of the regular season and the NBA Play-In Tournament.
To finish the year, Bassey looked like a solid rotation piece, averaging 10.6 points, 7.2 rebounds and 1.4 blocks on 67.7% shooting from the field. That said, despite his solid play, he wasn’t able to affect the Warriors’ push for the postseason, playing zero minutes in the Play-In Tournament against the Clippers and one minute of garbage time against the Suns. Although Bassey didn’t have the biggest opportunity to make an impact, he was impressive when on the floor. Looking ahead to next year, Bassey will be an unrestricted free agent.
