If you forgot a holiday dinner staple or need appetizers for a pop-up party, these 18 Redding grocery stores open for shoppers on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and/or New Year’s Day.
Most grocers plan special limited holiday hours. Specialty departments ― including pharmacies, delis and bakeries ― may have different hours than the store in which they’re located. Another exception: Small stores’ hours may change at the last minute due to staffing. In both cases, store managers recommend people call ahead if they want to refill a prescription or make a custom cake or sandwich platter order.
Here’s a list of grocery stores and their open hours on Dec. 24, 25, 31 and Jan. 1, according to store managers and staff.
