Joe Burrow and Davante Adams are two of the biggest stars in the NFL, but they’ve never had the chance to play together as teammates. They both wish they got that opportunity, though.
When Burrow drafted Adams to his team for the Fanatics Flag Football Classic, he said he’s “always wanted to play” with Adams. Not long after that, Adams returned the compliment by also sharing his desire to become teammates with the Bengals star quarterback.
In a recent video, Adams passed the phone to a player he wished he had the chance to play with.
“I’m passing the phone to somebody who I wish I had the chance to play with,” Adams said of Burrow.
The Rams could use a successor to Matthew Stafford as early as 2027 if he retires after this season, and might that guy be Burrow? If he forces his way out of Cincinnati after another tough year in 2026, the Rams might be a team that pulls the trigger on another blockbuster trade for a quarterback.
Adams is only signed through 2026 but if the Rams somehow manage to land Burrow, you can bet he’d want to run it back for another year in 2027.
