College Gameday gives picks for the UCLA-Indiana game in Week 9

Ahead of UCLA and Indiana’s Big Noon Kickoff, the Fox analyst team gave their picks for the game. The Bruins had won three games in a row but still remained as mammoth underdog against the high-flying Hoosiers.

Offensive play caller Jerry Neuheisel has taken the country by storm during the Bruins’ recent surge. UCLA is still tied for the third-best record in the Big Ten Conference despite their 0-4 start to the season.

ESPN’s College Gameday show chose their winners against the spread, with two of the five panelists choosing UCLA. Desmond Howard and Kirk Hebrstreit chose UCLA to cover the 27.5 point spread. Nate Bargatze, Nick Saban and Pat McAfee all went with the Hoosiers to cover at home.

The 7-0 Hoosiers have a dominant offense and defense which should give Nico Iamaleava and the UCLA Bruins fits on Saturday. A loss would end longshot hopes for the Bruins to make a surprise appearance in the Big Ten title game but it was likely going to come sooner or later, with UCLA still set to face Ohio State later this season.

UCLA has been rolling on all cylinders but they’re yet to face anyone on the caliber of Indiana, who have been utterly dominant this season as they’ve rolled to a 7-0 start to the season. UCLA is searching for an upset but it will be quite the challenge for Tim Skipper’s squad.
