The CIF-SS offices released the high school baseball and softball playoff brackets Monday, and a total of 15 desert teams will continue their seasons on the diamond.
That list features eight baseball teams including league champions like Palm Desert in the Desert Empire League and Indio in the Desert Valley League. And you’ll find seven softball teams including league winners Shadow Hills out of the Desert Empire League and Indio again of the Desert Valley League.
Here is the schedule for all 15 teams. If a softball team wins its first-round game, they play again Saturday. If a baseball team wins its opener, they will play in round two next Tuesday.
