Football uniforms at every level are always a hot topic of conversation.
Do we like the classic minimalist look of a Penn State or an ever-changing array of alternatives like Oregon?
Does the color choice make a difference? I remember as a kid I really loved the green and blue combo of the Seattle Seahawks and the creamsicle orange of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and always wondered why the Browns helmets were orange.
So that brings us to our local high schools. Which desert team has the best uniform, the best ‘fit, the classiest threads? We want to hear from you in this week’s high school poll: What desert football team has the coolest uniform?
You could vote for your favorite team, or you could say to yourself, “I love my guys, but I have to admit this other school has a pretty darn cool uniform.” Have fun with it.
Simply vote in the poll attached to this article at desertsun.com and which ever team has the most votes at noon on Saturday will be declared the team with the best unis.
Recent results: In previous weeks during our summer of polls, we asked which school has the biggest home field advantage and you chose Rancho Mirage’s Jerry Argovitz Stadium. We also asked which non-league matchup this upcoming season has you most excited and you chose the rematch of last year’s thriller between Rancho Mirage and Coachella Valley.
Here is this week’s poll, pick which team you think is the best dressed. Happy voting.
