Bears-Packers rivalry gets holiday slot late in season

Last season, every Chicago Bears versus Green Bay Packers game lived up to the hype. The Bears and Caleb Williams took back control of this rivalry, winning two out of the three games. One was a walk-off winner in overtime, and another was a thrilling comeback win in the playoffs. This rivalry now has more juice than ever.

It only seemed fitting that the NFL would award fans with this classic rivalry being played on Christmas Day. The Bears and Packers will meet on Christmas in the midday slot on Netflix.

Caleb Williams and all of the Bears in this new era have taken this rivalry for what it should be, and that is a true hatred between two teams. Coach Ben Johnson has also done everything possible to display his feelings toward the team in Green Bay. That is what makes this rivalry exciting. The feeling is mutual on the other side as Matt Lafleur is not too fond of Ben Johnson.

Caleb Williams taking the step he did last season and securing a win at Lambeau Field in his rookie season really killed some old narratives about these two teams. These are the days when the Packers own the Chicago Bears. Caleb Williams is creating a new story between the two teams, and on Christmas Day, he will be able to continue writing.
