After four more seasons with the Boston Celtics, veteran center and former NBA champion Al Horford joined the Golden State Warriors for his 19th NBA season. Although the 39-year-old wasn’t the most durable (45 appearances), he increased his steals and blocks per game totals despite averaging the fewest minutes of his career.
During the year, Horford averaged 8.3 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 0.7 steals and 1.1 blocks. Horford’s shooting numbers were quite similar from a season prior, shooting 42.6% from the field and 36.1% from 3-point range. Ahead of his 20th NBA season, Horford signed a new two-year deal with Golden State.
