The San Francisco 49ers may not be playing on Sunday in Super Bowl 60, but their home field (Levi’s Stadium) is the site for the championship matchup between the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots.
Leading up to the game, 49ers linebacker Fred Warner is working for NBC as a pregame analyst, which means he has to cover the division rival Seahawks in their quest for a Lombardi Trophy.
On Sunday afternoon, Warner was tasked with doing a hit inside the 49ers’ locker room, which is housing the Seahawks for the tilt, and his reaction was hilarious.
Warner missed most of the 2025 season due to a broken and dislocated ankle that landed him on injured reserve. He was hoping to return for the divisional round, but the Seahawks eliminated the 49ers before then.
Maybe this will be the motivation that Warner and his teammates need to get back to the Super Bowl next year.
