The San Francisco 49ers went back on the road in Week 5 for a Thursday night matchup with their NFC West rivals, the Los Angeles Rams, at SoFi Stadium, and after a contest that needed overtime, Kyle Shanahan’s team emerged with a 26-23 win.
This may have been the 49ers’ most impressive victory of their four to start the season, as they were considered massive underdogs and were missing several key players who were out due to injury. Still, quarterback Mac Jones, through his own injury, was able to lead his team to the win on the short week.
As we look through Thursday’s game, let’s take a look at the Pro Football Focus grades to see who they believe were the best and worst 49ers on the field.
