The San Francisco 49ers have had the last few days off after their Week 5 win over the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday night at SoFi Stadium, but one player still has some work to do for the NFL’s final game of this week’s slate.
With the Kansas City Chiefs and Jacksonville Jaguars set to square off at EverBank Stadium on Monday night, ESPN will be producing their regular broadcast and the “Manningcast,” hosted by Peyton and Eli Manning. Among their guests for Monday night, the Manning’s are expected to have 49ers linebacker Fred Warner on the alternate broadcast.
Warner is the leader of San Francisco’s defense and is making a case for Defensive Player of the Year through the first five weeks of the season, recording 50 tackles (two for a loss), three passes defensed, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.
This will be another opportunity to share his personality and impressive football mind with not only two of the best quarterbacks of this century, but he’ll also be able to do the same with national football fans. The extra attention could help keep the buzz going for him after an incredible start to the season.
