The Los Angeles Rams are having a great all-around season in 2025.
They sit at 5-2 and tied atop the NFC West with one of the best offensive and defensive units in the league. Matthew Stafford is playing at an elite level and is tied for the NFL lead with 17 touchdowns, Puka Nacua is top-four in receptions and yards and Byron Young is third in sacks.
As such, several Rams players could earn All-Pro nods by the season’s end if they keep up this play.
Sports Illustrated’s Matt Verderame predicted the league’s first- and second-team All-Pro selections at the midway point of this year and picked Stafford, Nacua and Young as likely to earn acclaim. Stafford and Young made the second-team, while Nacua was a first-teamer.
The Rams have one of the league’s most explosive pass-catching duos, with Puka Nacua and Davante Adams, and Stafford has taken full advantage.
Nacua is also an obvious call with 616 yards and two scores despite missing two weeks.
Finally, Young has nine sacks in seven games, creating havoc on a Rams front headlined by Jared Verse, the reigning Defensive Rookie of the Year.
These all make sense at their current pace. The Rams’ trio is among the NFL’s best at their respective positions and are major reasons why the team is 5-2 heading into Week 9.
If they can remain healthy, this could be one of the better Rams teams in Sean McVay’s coaching tenure.
