There’s a funny picture of Tom Izzo floating around social media on Friday.
The Michigan State men’s basketball coach was in attendance for the Detroit Tigers’ home opener on Friday, and he was caught on camera having what appeared to be a frustrating phone call. Izzo was spotted by the broadcast sitting in the Tigers’ new luxury Home Plate Club seats on a phone call where he looks noticeably upset.
The image of Izzo (which can be seen below) garnered plenty of reactions from fans and media members on social media, with many speculating what the call could possibly be about. The most popular reaction or prediction of what the call could be about was some bad transfer portal news, which isn’t a bad guess after how active the transfer portal has been this past week for the Spartans.
Check out the photo of Izzo below (courtesy of a post from Kyle Feldscher) and take your own guess at what was being discussed during his now infamous Tigers’ opening day call.
