One team has emerged as the reported favorite to land Michigan State basketball transfer forward Xavier Booker.
247Sports college basketball insider Travis Branham has submitted a crystal ball prediction for Booker to land at a Big Ten foe: UCLA.
Booker is a former five-star prospect in the 2023 class. He is one of the highest-rated prospects to ever sign with Tom Izzo and the Spartans. Booker, however, struggled to see extended playing time at Michigan State.
Booker started only five games and averaged 11.2 minutes per game across his two seasons with the Spartans. He averaged 4.3 points and two rebounds per game during his Spartan career.
There is no timetable for when Booker is planning to announce his transfer portal commitment. But it sounds as if he is close to making a decision and will be heading to another Big Ten team soon.
