Motorcyclist in critical condition after crash in south Lansing

LANSING – A 22-year-old man is in critical condition after the motorcycle he was driving crashed Sunday afternoon in south Lansing.

Lansing police responded to reports of a crash on S. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard near Cooper Avenue, about two blocks south of Mt. Hope, at 3:35 p.m. Sunday afternoon, Lansing police spokeswoman Jordan Gulkis said.

Officers found the motorcycle operator lying in the roadway and he was transported to a local hospital.

He is listed in critical condition, Gulkis said.
