The 2026 NHL Draft begins on Friday, June 26, at KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York. The night will feature the first round of the draft beginning at 7 p.m. ET, and will be televised on ESPN (with streaming available on Fubo and ESPN+).
Day 2 of the draft, featuring Rounds 2-7, will take place on Saturday, starting at 11 a.m. ET (NHL Network).
After winning the draft lottery, the Toronto Maple Leafs own the No. 1 overall pick, followed by the San Jose Sharks at No. 2 and the Vancouver Canucks at No. 3. The Detroit Red Wings do not have a first-round pick after trading their 2026 first-rounder to the St. Louis Blues as part of the Justin Faulk trade in March.
