Polka Dots and Stripes are having a moment. Fancy Walls, a European wallpaper company, shares a fresh perspective on these lively designs. “Polka dots are one of the few patterns that can be both mature and youthful,” says Elīza Siliņa, pattern designer. “They’re pleasing to look at and scratch that itch in our brains.” Stripes can also make a statement. “Vertical wallpaper has never really gone out of style,” she adds. “Like most interior design trends, its popularity rises and falls, but it never fully disappears.” This pattern is back with bolder and more colorful selections.
