It was another Ohio State vs. Michigan contest for the right to keep the season going. This time, it was the OSU baseball team going toe-to-toe with the Wolverines in the Big Ten Baseball Tournament. The winner moved on to a single-elimination, eight-team battle for the conference crown and automatic berth in the NCAA Tournament.
Unfortunately, the Buckeyes fell short against a Michigan starter that was dealing all night, finishing with a complete game shutout despite a good pitching performance from Ohio State as well. The 3-0 result knocks Ohio State out of the postseason, and we were there with live updates throughout. Here’s how things played out in Omaha.
