Friday’s rookie minicamp was the first opportunity to see the Detroit Lions draft class and undrafted free agents put on the Honolulu Blue and take part in a practice. I was there for the sun-soaked morning practice and the player press conferences afterward.
As a companion to the notebook published on Friday, I also recorded a video breakdown of what I saw and heard in Allen Park. Via the Detroit Lions Podcast, the video includes my thoughts on the draft class, some undrafted rookies who captured attention, and a couple of prominent veteran tryouts.
