For the past few seasons, the talent coming from Otsego County softball teams had overshadowed the best baseball players in the area. This season, the playing field was leveled a bit.
Talented players from Gaylord, St. Mary and Johannesburg-Lewiston helped turned in successful season on Gaylord-area baseball diamonds, highlighted by GSM’s run to the Division 4 state quarterfinals in early June. Now, its your chance to decide who had the best spring of those top players.
Two to three candidates from each area school are up for consideration, with voting to conclude on July 2:
Josias Ferrett, Gaylord
