Michigan State Police are asking the public for help to identify a man whose body was found on Lake Huron’s shore last fall.
State police troopers with the Alpena Post were called on Nov. 26, 2025, to a home on Raven Drive in Ocqueoc Township in Presque Isle County after a deceased male was discovered on the lake’s shore, according to authorities. Presque Isle County is about 260 miles north of Detroit.
Officials said the victim is about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs about 165 pounds. He was wearing a white t-shirt with word “Allegedly” in colorful letters and an Ostrich on the front, a black North Face jacket, American Eagle undergarments with an aquatic print, and blue jeans when he was found, they said.
Investigators said he may have been deceased for three months to three years, and they have been unable to determine any other identifying information due to his body’s condition.
Detectives also said foul play is not suspected, and the medical examiner continues to investigate.
On Thursday, state police released a sketch of what investigators believe the victim looked like. They said the sketch was done by the state police’s Forensic Art Unit with help from Michigan State University’s Anthropology Laboratory.
Anyone with information about the deceased should call the Michigan State Police’s Alpena Post at (989) 354-4101.
