ERIE, MI — Fairgoers will have the chance to explore a different era in history at the River Raisin Renaissance Faire.
The outdoor gathering is being held for a second year at Michigan Castle, 2110 E. Rauch Road in Erie.
“Explore the Royal Court led by Queen Victoria Nevarra, indulge in a turkey leg, shop artisan wares and enjoy a day full of laughter, learning and legacy,” organizers said in a release. “This three-day festival promises a vibrant mix of live entertainment, over 50 unique vendors, delicious food trucks and games for all ages. From sword fighting and music to magic shows and a children’s area nestled inside our fairy realm, there’s something enchanting around every corner.”

Where’s this year’s River Raisin Renaissance Faire?
The three-day event takes place at Michigan Castle, 2110 E. Rauch Road in Erie.
What’s the time?
11 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday, June 13 and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, June 14 and Sunday, June 15. On Father’s Day, dads get free admission on Sunday when accompanied by their child.
How much are tickets?
Adults pay $10 at the gate or $8 pre-sale on Eventbrite. Children 12 and younger are admitted free.
How much is parking?
It’s free.
What’s new?
Pony rides and a petting zoo, garb contest for those dressed in Renaissance attire and a 50/50 raffle.
Will there be food?
Yes. There will be a variety of food trucks.
What kind of entertainment is planned?
Live entertainment including music, dancing, sword fighting, magic shows and more.
Will there be vendors?
Yes. More than 50 vendors will be there.
