The Michigan State Police on Thursday, July 16, renewed a request for help from the public in identifying a man whose body was found near Lake Huron last fall and released a new sketch of what he looked like.

The man’s body was found Nov. 26, 2025, after troopers from the MSP Alpena Post were dispatched to a home on Raven Drive in Presque Isle County’s Ocqueoc Township where the man’s body was found on the shore of Lake Huron.

At the time he was discovered, police said, the man was wearing a white T-shirt with word “Allegedly” in colorful letters and an ostrich on the front, a black North Face jacket, American Eagle undergarments with an aquatic print, and blue jeans.

The man was about 5 feet, 6 inches tall and 165 pounds.

Police said the man could have been dead for three months up to three years.

“Due to the condition of the deceased, it is difficult for investigators to determine any other identifying information. The medical examiner’s investigation is ongoing, and foul play is not suspected,” police said in 2025.

MSP is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the man. Anyone who recognizes the man or has any information is asked to call the MSP Alpena Post at 989-354-4101.
