Pistons-Cavaliers Game 5 tip-off will be determined by Lakers-Thunder

The Oklahoma City Thunder and Los Angeles Lakers will determine when the Detroit Pistons tip off in Game 5 of their Eastern Conference semifinals series Wednesday at Little Caesars Arena.

Should the Lakers force a Game 5 in their Western Conference semifinals series with the top-seeded Thunder, who lead 3-0 heading into Monday night’s Game 4, the Pistons will take on the Cleveland Cavaliers at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Game 5, with Game 5 between the Lakers and Thunder to follow at 9:30 p.m.

A Thunder victory Monday night will push back the Pistons-Cavs showdown to 8 p.m.

Game 5 wil be broadcast on ESPN in either scenario.

The Pistons lead their best-of-seven series with the Cavs, 2-1, after Cleveland earned a 116-109 victory in Game 3 on Saturday at Rocket Arena. The two teams square off in Game 4 on Monday, also in Cleveland.
