Here’s what fans coming to the Spring Showcase need to know.

Start times and entry gates

The Spring Showcase kicks off at noon Saturday, April 18, at Spartan Stadium.

The gates will open at 10:30 a.m. and fans can enter through gates B, C, D and J and will be able to sit on the west side of Spartan Stadium in sections 17-30.

After the showcase, which will be the team’s 15th and final spring practice, fans will be able to take photos with Fitzgerald and get autographs from the team on the concourse.

Concessions will be open and alcohol will be sold.

Tickets are free and can be downloaded online through msuspartans.evenue.net/event/F26/FSS.

Where should I park?

Fans attending the game can find free parking in lots 38, 39, 40, 63, 67, 79 and 126, along with ramp 7 on campus. Accessible parking spots will be available in Lot 62 as well.

Can you bring a bag into Spartan Stadium?

Clear bags smaller than 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches are permitted during the Spring Showcase, as are one-gallon plastic freezer bags.

Bags smaller than 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches, like a small clutch or binocular cases, can be brought into Spartan Stadium and do not need to be clear.

Bags for medically necessary equipment, child care and dietary items can be brought in following inspections, and bags will be searched and tagged by MSU police officers, who will make the final determination if an item is a true medical need.

What will the weather be like for the Spring Showcase?

According to the National Weather Service, East Lansing can expect rain showers and wind on April 18.

Showers and thunderstorms are expected before 8 a.m., then rain showers are possible throughout the day. The high temperature on Saturday is expected to be 64 degrees, with an overnight low of 40.
