Michigan State basketball will get a ranked test on Tuesday evening in an intriguing exhibition game.
The Spartans visit UConn for their second and final exhibition game before they tip off the 2025-26 season next week. Michigan State picked up a victory in their first exhibition game last week and will open the season on Nov. 3 against Colgate.
UConn is No. 4 in the preseason top 25 and considered the favorite to win the Big East this season. The Huskies knocked off Boston College in their first exhibition game two weeks ago.
Prepare for this exhibition tilt by checking out the television info and my game prediction below:
Broadcast Info
Date / Tip Time: Tuesday, Oct. 28 at 7:30 p.m. ET
TV: WFSB (local TV only) / UConn+ (streaming subscription details)
Game Prediction
Prediction: UConn 80, Michigan State 73
While this is just an exhibition game, this should be a good measuring stick game for the Spartans and help us set expectations with the regular season starting next week. On paper, UConn is ranked among the top five nationally for a reason. With this being a road game, I’m going to lean toward the Huskies in this game. There’s still a number of unknowns for both teams, so I will not be surprised if the Spartans end up winning. But for now, I’ll go with the safe prediction of a close game that results in the Huskies holding on late.
