Michigan State hockey had a great first round of the NHL Draft, but when the next day rolled around, the Spartans also kicked off day two in a great way. Brooks Rogowski was selected with the No. 33 pick in the second round, the first pick of Saturday.
Now, Rogowski is joining a current Spartan Anthony Romani at the Vancouver Canucks development camp. Romani is a sixth-round pick by the Canucks in 2024. After a 14 goal and 14 assist season for Romani as a freshman in 2025-26, the Canucks have taken a stronger interest in the Spartan.
Rogowski, a standout with the OHL’s Oshawa Generals, is not expected to join Michigan State until the 2027-28 season.
