Michigan State losing veteran offensive guard to transfer portal

Michigan State football is going to see a massive amount of turnover in the coming weeks, building a new roster for 2026 under Pat Fitzgerald.

One player that has now announced his intentions to enter the NCAA transfer portal is offensive guard Gavin Broscious.

A 6-foot-4, 310 pounder from Surprise, Arizona, Broscious has been a part of the Michigan State program since 2022. In 2025, he appeared in 11 games, while making four starts at guard for the Spartans. It was his first full season playing for the Spartans, as injuries have derailed his career some.

In 2025, PFF rated his pass blocking as a 60.6, while his run blocking was a 59.7. He played in 485 snaps over the course of the season.

He will have two years of eligibility remaining.
