Michigan State football secures commitment from 3-star edge

For the second time this weekend, Michigan State football has added to their 2027 recruiting class. While visiting East Lansing, Lawrence Kanneh has committed to the Spartans.

A native of Columbus (OH), he is a three-star edge prospect attending Whitehall Yearling High School. Currently, he ranks as the No. 856 overall and No. 71 edge in the country according to the 247Sports composite rankings. He stands at 6-foot-3 and 225 pounds, with an 82-inch wingspan.

To earn the commitment of Kanneh, who wowed the Spartans in a workout this spring, Michigan State had to surpass offers from Boise State, East Carolina, USF and Virginia.
