Michigan’s season opener against Western Michigan on Sept. 5 will be a night game, the Big Ten shared in an announcement Wednesday that included kickoffs for early-season games.
The Wolverines will face WMU at Michigan Stadium and it will be broadcast by NBC at 7:30 p.m.
Michigan’s home game against UTEP on Sept. 19 will air on BTN at 3:30 p.m. FOX previously announced the Sept. 12 game with Oklahoma at Michigan will kick off at noon, and the Nov. 28 Michigan-Ohio State game at Ohio Stadium will also be on FOX at noon.
Michigan State also opens the season with a night game against Toledo on Sept. 4 at 8 p.m. on FS1. The Spartans’ game against Eastern Michigan on Sept. 12 at Spartan Stadium will be on BTN at 3:30 p.m.
MSU will play at Notre Dame on Sept. 19 at 7:30 p.m. on NBC. The other kickoff previously announced by FOX will feature Oregon at Michigan State on Nov. 20 at 8 p.m.
