Dquavion Broome, 27, received credit for 200 days he’s already spent behind bars, according to online Oakland County Circuit Court records. He’ll begin serving the additional 165 days immediately, records show.

His attorney, Arnold L. Weiner, didn’t immediately return a call seeking comment.

Broome had pleaded no contest to a charge of felonious assault on March 17, court records indicate. A no contest plea is not an admission of guilt, but is used as such for purposes of sentencing.

An additional charge of assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder was dismissed.

Troy police said Broome stabbed a man Aug. 30 in the parking lot of Sedona Taphouse, located on Big Beaver Road.

Authorities said the suspect and victim knew one another. The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he was listed in stable condition immediately following the incident.

Police said Broome left the state after the stabbing but was arrested without incident Oct. 9 after he returned to Michigan.
