Kaleb Glenn injury update: Michigan State basketball transfer tears up knee, out for season

Kaleb Glenn is done for the season before he could ever suit up in a game for the 2025-26 Michigan State basketball team.

Glenn, a transfer from Florida Atlantic, injured his knee and is out for the season, the Spartans announced Wednesday, June 17. He will redshirt this season.

“I feel terrible for Kaleb and for his family but we will be with them throughout this process,” MSU coach Tom Izzo said in a statement. “It’s awful that this happened just a couple of weeks after he got here in East Lansing and was working out with the guys and getting to know them.”

Glenn, who began his college career at Louisville in 2023-24, has two years of eligibility remaining. He was second-team all-league in the American Athletic Conference, averaging 12.5 points and 5.8 rebounds in 25.8 minutes while coming off the bench for 29 of his 34 games with the Owls last season. He shot 41% from 3-point range on 117 attempts, bringing needed perimeter scoring and length to Izzo’s team.

“In just a short time with us since he committed, we have really enjoyed having him and his family as part of our program. We’re going to do everything that we can to support him and get him back on the floor.”
