Here’s everything you need to know about the NFL’s schedule release.
When is the 2026 NFL schedule release?
The NFL will announce the full schedule for all 32 teams on NFL Network on 8 p.m. ET Thursday. The announcement will also be available on ESPN2, the ESPN app and NFL+, according to a release from the league.
Details for each of the NFL’s nine international contests will be announced Wednesday morning on NFL Network’s Good Morning Football. The Lions are slated to play in Munich, Germany, on Nov. 15. Their opponent has yet to be announced.

Week 2: at Buffalo Bills on Sept. 17 (announced by Amazon)
