The Haslett and Okemos boys tennis teams led the flights recognized as all-state in Greater Lansing by the Michigan High School Tennis Coaches Association.
Haslett and Okemos each had four flights earn all-state honors. Okemos had a pair of first team all-state selections in junior No. 1 singles player Sahaj Pakala and its top doubles tandem of Addy Sarda and Ayan Arora. The Wolves also had No. 2 singles player Krishaan Shah and No. 3 singles player Kai Minamisono named honorable mention all-state. Minamisono ended his season as a state runner-up.
Anish Komirisetty was a first team all-state singles player in Division 3 to lead Haslett. The Vikings also had No. 2 singles player Jackson Clark, No. 3 singles player Gautier Dorlencourt and its top doubles tandem of Amogh Kodur and Joel Manjasseril earn honorable mention all-state honors.
DeWitt, East Lansing, Lansing Catholic, Lansing Christian and Williamston also had flights selected all-state.
East Lansing’s Bodhi Alwin and Donald Harley were honorable mention all-state in Division 2 at doubles. DeWitt had its top doubles tandem of Rowan Page and Jack Williams named honorable mention all-state in Division 3.
Lansing Christian’s Stephen Gollapalli, the No. 1 singles state champion, and Lansing Catholic’s Noah West, the No. 1 singles state runner-up, were first team all-state selections in Division 4. Williamston’s Luke Harkema and Kaden Steinke were honorable mention all-state at doubles in Division 4.
