Hartland pedestrian, 63, seriously injured after hit-and-run on Cundy Road

A local resident was left with serious injuries after a hit-and-run in Hartland Township.

Deputies with the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office responded around 10:30 p.m. Sept. 10 to Cundy Road. According to LCSO, a 63-year-old Hartland resident was walking westbound near the edge of the road against the flow of traffic when they were struck by an unknown vehicle traveling east.

The driver didn’t stop after the crash.

A citizen who didn’t witness the crash stopped to help, and the pedestrian was transported to a hospital in Ann Arbor with serious injuries.

The incident remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call 517-546-2440 ext. 4353.
