Get your fill of Buc-ee's on spring break. Where to stop on way south

Michigan families soon will be setting out on the roughly 24-hour road trip to Florida as dozens of Michigan school districts take their spring break.

It’s a perfect time for fans of Buc-ee’s to get in a few stops at one — or more — of the iconic travel centers along the way.

The nearest Buc-ee’s location to Michigan is under construction in Huber Heights, Ohio, northeast of Cincinnati, and two more in Indiana, but there are numerous locations along routes to Florida, or other warm spring break destinations.

Buc-ee’s is known for its clean bathrooms and wide variety of food and drinks. Some staple food options include its jerky flavors and brisket sandwiches.

Here’s a look at where to stop on your trip along Interstate 75 or Interstates 69 and 65 on the way to Florida.

Which Buc-ee’s locations can I visit along I-75?

For those taking I-75 to Florida, there are several Buc-ee’s sprinkled along the interstate, according to the Roadtrip Beaver online interactive map.

From north to south, here are Bucee’s along I-75:

Several Buc-ee’s locations are planning to open along I-75. A travel center is planning to open in 2027 in Forsyth, Georgia. In addition, locations are expected to open in Greenwood, Indiana and Whitestown, Indiana in 2028.

Where are Buc-ee’s travel centers along I-69/65?

As an alternative route to Florida, here are potential Buc-ee’s detours along I-69 and I-65:

A Buc-ee’s is expected to open in 2026 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, 30 miles southeast from Nashville.

How many Buc-ee’s are in Florida?

There are two Buc-ee’s in Florida, hugging the state’s northeast coast. One is located in Saint Augustine, at 200 Word Commerce Parkway, and another is located in Daytona Beach, at 2330 Gateway North Drive.

Four locations are under construction in Florida. In mid-2027 one will open in Tallahassee; in 2028 one will open in Ocala; in 2027 one will open in Fort Pierce; and in 2026 one will open in Charlotte.
