Fog advisory in Monroe County. Some schools closed, delayed April 17

Dense fog in Monroe County is causing school closings and delays Friday, April 17.

Monroe County is under a dense fog advisory until 10 a.m. April 17, according to the National Weather Service. Monroe County Emergency Management sent out phone and email alerts about the advisory round 2:50 a.m.

Monroe County Middle College and the Monroe County Intermediate School District are closed April 17. The schools were scheduled to have a half-day of classes on April 17.
