Flyers’ Porter Martone tops NHL jersey sales amid playoff run

A former Michigan State hockey star has skyrocketed in the public perception of the National Hockey League, after taking the league by storm with the playoffs beginning. With the Philadelphia Flyers on the verge of knocking out the Pittsburgh Penguins, Porter Martone has shown he is one of the league’s rising stars.

Martone, after scoring back-to-back GWG in his first two playoff games, the NHL Shop’s No. 1 selling jersey is Porter Martone. Martone’s sales are up 1,174% since the start of the playoffs.

The former Michigan State star had to make the quick turnaround from the collegiate game to the professional game, and has shown he is more than capable of belonging at the level. Be on the lookout for Martone to continue making noise in the NHL playoffs.
