A 19-year-old Detroit resident was shot and killed at a house party in Harper Woods early Saturday, according to Harper Woods police.
At around 12:30 a.m., officers responded to reports of shots fired on the 19100 block of Huntington, where a loud house party had also been reported, according to information shared by the police department.
The man was privately transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead, the department wrote in a post on Facebook.
Harper Woods detectives are investigating the incident, and ask people who have relevant information about the incident to contact the department at 313-343-2530.
