Get ready to kick the dust off your cowboy boots and enjoy a country-filled evening in downtown Brighton.
Brighton’s Country Boots & Beats Festival will run 12-10 p.m. June 20. The event is being presented by Lake Trust Credit Union and the Greater Brighton Area Chamber of Commerce.
The free, family-friendly festival includes line dancing lessons, food trucks, a designated children’s area, live music at The AMP at Mill Pond and vendors along Main Street.
The festival’s music lineup includes:
There will be free shuttles running roughly every 15 minutes 11:30 a.m.-10:30 p.m. with drop-off and pick-up from Brighton High School to the corner of Main Street and Second Street and Brighton Meijer to the corner of North First Street and Cedar Street.
This year marks the second annual Country Boots & Beats Festival. The event was previously called Yellowstone Country Music Festival and took place at Mount Brighton Ski Resort. Organizers changed the name of the event and relocated with the goal of supporting local business owners and merchants, according to prior reporting from The Daily.
