Bruno Mars has added another Ford Field date to his upcoming world tour, and is now on tap for at least two Detroit shows this spring.
The pop superstar will play the downtown stadium May 10, following his previously announced May 9 concert in the Detroit Lions’ house.
A presale for the May 10 show will start at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday (Jan. 14), with tickets for both Mars dates set to go on sale to the general public at noon Thursday through Ticketmaster.
Both dates will feature Anderson.Paak (performing as DJ Pee.Wee) and Leon Thomas in the opening slots.
The shows, which will be his first here since 2018, are part of a lengthy tour in support of Mars’ forthcoming album, “The Romantic.”
