BOYNE CITY — They say that when the weather warms, the ball starts to fly a bit further.
That’s a scary thought for opponents meeting the Boyne City softball team.
How much further can that thing go? Boyne City will certainly test it.
As teams play through continued cold and windy days on the diamond for now, Boyne’s pop continued at the plate this week in a sweep over rival Charlevoix.

One of those extra-base knocks in the opener against the Rayders came as a special one for one Ramblers in-particular as well, with junior Sidney Bush recording her 100th hit on a double in the opener.
Bush also earned a game-one win in the circle, recording six strikeouts, then had two RBIs in that opener. In game two, Bush then had a homer and six RBIs.
