After all the votes were in, you have given us your answer.
According to the readers of the Enquirer, the B.O.B. — the Best of Battle Creek among catchers — is Allyson Govier of Harper Creek in softball and Nathan Miller of Harper Creek in baseball. Kyla Ethridge of St. Philip/Climax-Scotts was second in softball and Isaiah Jackson of Lakeview was second in baseball.

School: Harper Creek
Class: Junior
Why she is the best catcher in the city/area: Growing as a defensive catcher, Allyson Govier has a .925 fielding percentage and has recorded 32 putouts so far this year. She as an all-conference honorable mention selection a year ago.
Nathan Miller
School: Harper Creek
Class: Freshman
Why he is the best catcher in the city/area: A talented freshman, who is part of a strong catching duo for the Beavers. Nathan Miller has started the season hot and is hitting over .400 and leading the team in RBIs and runs scored.
