A new five-building, 25-unit condo development received site plan approval from the Holland Planning Commission on April 14.
The market-rate development, Gezellig Place, is planned for 493 W. 32nd St. in Holland and will include 15 two-bedroom units at 1,250 square feet and 10 three-bedroom units at 1,589 square feet.
The smaller units will have a one-car attached garage, while the larger units will have a two-car attached garage. There are also plans for a green space or park area on the property.
Project representatives anticipate the two-bedroom units will cost roughly $330,000 and the three-bedroom units will cost roughly $375,000-$380,000.
Commissioners praised the commitment to green space, particularly for homeowners with young children. The property previously held nursing home Hallmark Living Holland.
“Once the development is constructed, no disturbances are anticipated,” representatives wrote in a report to officials. “The development is anticipated to be completed in one phase.”
That phase is expected to begin this fall and last approximately 10 months.
