The festivities begin July 16 with the Ionia Free Fair 5K at 6:30 p.m. The Ionia Free Fair Foundation will also host a kickoff dinner at 5 p.m. at the E!Park — followed by the Queen’s Pageant at 7 p.m.

Attendees can choose from a variety of grandstand events, including:

Throughout the Free Fair, there’ll be food vendors, bingo, a marketplace and carnival rides on the Arnold Amusements Midway — as well as daily concerts, competitions, children’s activities and more at The E!Park.

The Ladies Day Program (and crowning of the Ionia County Woman of the Year) is set for 10 a.m. July 24. Other attractions include the StoneAge Show, Wild World Adventure, Foam Fun Zone Show, Rufus the Dufus, Boom, Miracle of Life Exhibit and Antique Village.
