During a city commission meeting on Nov. 6 members of the Marine City Commission approved a schedule for all city meetings for the coming year.
The meeting type, the dates, times and locations were unanimously approved by the commission. Commissioner Jacob Bryson was absent from the recent meeting.
Dates that fall on or near major holidays or electiol dates will be cancelled or re-scheduled.
The meeting schedule released and approved by the city is as follows:
Marine City Commission
Regular meetings are on the first and third Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Marine City Hall meeting chambers located at 260 South Parker Street.
Dates listed are: January 1, January 15, February 5, February 19, March 5, March 19, April 2 and April 15, May 7 and May 21, June 4 and June 18, July 2 and July 16, August 6 and August 20, September 3 and September 17, October 1 and October 15, November 5 and November 19, December 3 and December 19.
Marine City Planning Commission:
Regular meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the Marine City Hall meeting chambers located at 260 South Parker Street.
The calendar for 2026 is already packed with meeting dates for boards in Marine City.
Dates listed are: January 12, February 9, March 9, April 13, May 11, June 8, July 13, August 10, September 14, October 12, November 9 and December 14.
Marine City Dangerous Building Board of Appeals and Zoning Board of Appeals:
Quarterly meetings (unless otherwise required) are on the first Wednesday of the meeting month at 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. respectively in the Marine City Hall meeting chambers located at 260 South Parker Street.
Dates listed are set for January 7, April 1, July 1 and October 7.
Marine City Community and Economic Development Board:
Regular meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of every other month at 5:30 p.m. in the Marine City Hall meeting chambers located at 260 South Parker Street,
Dates listed are: January 28, March 25, May 27, July 22, September 23 and November 25.
Marine City Tax Increment Finance Authority
Regular quarterly meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the meeting month at 4:00 p.m. in the Marine City Hall meeting chambers at 260 South Parker Street.

Historical Commission of Marine City
Regular quarterly meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the meeting month at 5:00 p.m. in the Marine City Hall meeting chambers at 260 South Parker Street.

Marine City Pension Board of Trustees- Pension Plan and Pension Board Trustees
Regular quarterly meetings are held on the last Tuesday of the meeting month at 3:30 p.m. in the Marine City Hall meeting chambers at 260 South Parker Street.

Marine City Library Board
Regular quarterly meetings are held on the second Monday of the meeting month at 6:30 p.m. at the Marine City Library located at 300 South Parker Street.

Marine City Area Fire Authority
Regular meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the city’s fire hall located at 200 South Parker Street.
