Former Michigan State forward Xavier Booker is transferring to another Big Ten school.
News broke on Friday evening that Booker is transferring to UCLA. One college basketball insider reported earlier on Friday that he was expected to go to UCLA, and it was confirmed a few hours later.
Booker is a former five-star prospect in the 2023 class. He is one of the highest-rated prospects to ever sign with Michigan State. Booker, however, struggled to gain extended playing time during his two years with the Spartans.
Booker started only five games and averaged 11.2 minutes per game across his two seasons with the Spartans. He averaged 4.3 points and two rebounds per game during his Spartan career.
With Booker heading to UCLA, Michigan State will play against him at least once next season. We will not learn Michigan State’s schedule for next season for a few months.
