As Iowa women’s basketball prepares for the upcoming 2026-27 season, the Hawkeyes still have an eye on the future. Iowa extended a scholarship offer to 2029 guard Brielle Denkmann.
A 6-foot combo guard from Plymouth, Minn., Denkmann plays for Wayzata High School and club ball for the Minnesota Fury AAU program.
Denkmann is currently ranked as the No. 3 combo guard and overall player in the state of Minnesota, according to Prep Girls Hoops’ 2029 Minnesota rankings.
In addition to Iowa, Denkmann has received offers from Iowa State, Wisconsin, Marquette, South Dakota, South Dakota State and St. Thomas.
